La cifra representa un crecimiento de <strong>5% frente al mismo per\u00edodo de 2025<\/strong>, seg\u00fan datos de la Direcci\u00f3n General Mar\u00edtima de Colombia (Dimar).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El resultado estuvo impulsado principalmente por el tr\u00e1fico internacional de mercanc\u00edas. Este segmento alcanz\u00f3 <strong>4.366 arribos de buques de carga<\/strong>, con un aumento interanual de 6,8%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los portacontenedores lideraron este crecimiento. Durante el semestre registraron <strong>2.110 arribos<\/strong>, un incremento de 10,1%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, representaron el <strong>48,3% de los buques internacionales destinados al transporte de mercanc\u00edas<\/strong>. El comportamiento refleja el dinamismo de los flujos mar\u00edtimos y su importancia para el comercio colombiano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan Stephanie Pauwels Romero, coordinadora del Grupo de Transporte y Operaciones Mar\u00edtimas de Dimar, los resultados muestran la importancia estrat\u00e9gica del transporte mar\u00edtimo para el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las cifras de la Direcci\u00f3n de Impuestos y Aduanas Nacionales (Dian) tambi\u00e9n muestran esta relevancia. Durante el primer semestre, el transporte mar\u00edtimo concentr\u00f3 <strong>98,8% del peso bruto de las importaciones<\/strong> y <strong>99,1% de las exportaciones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por otra parte, el Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estad\u00edstica (Dane) report\u00f3 <strong>69,9 millones de toneladas de comercio exterior<\/strong>, con un crecimiento de 6,1% frente al primer semestre de 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La actividad internacional mantiene una elevada concentraci\u00f3n en los principales puertos. Cartagena, Santa Marta, Buenaventura y Barranquilla reunieron <strong>86,7% de los arribos internacionales de buques de carga<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cartagena registr\u00f3 el mayor crecimiento, con 13,1%. Le siguieron Santa Marta, con 5,9%, y Barranquilla, con 0,8%. En contraste, Buenaventura present\u00f3 una disminuci\u00f3n de 5,4%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El desempe\u00f1o ocurre en un contexto internacional marcado por tensiones geopol\u00edticas y cambios en las rutas mar\u00edtimas. Adem\u00e1s, las transformaciones de las cadenas globales de suministro generan nuevas presiones sobre costos y tiempos de tr\u00e1nsito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A estos factores se suman la transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica y la digitalizaci\u00f3n del transporte mar\u00edtimo.
