La aprobaci\u00f3n ampl\u00eda las capacidades operativas de la terminal en el Puerto de Manzanillo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con esta autorizaci\u00f3n, Contecon se convierte en el \u00fanico operador del puerto habilitado para recibir buques de estas dimensiones. La terminal podr\u00e1 atender naves de hasta <strong>400 metros de eslora y 24.000 TEUs<\/strong> de capacidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jos\u00e9 Antonio Contreras, CEO de Contecon Manzanillo, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que la autorizaci\u00f3n refleja las inversiones realizadas para fortalecer la infraestructura. Tambi\u00e9n indic\u00f3 que la empresa busca alcanzar un calado operativo de 17 metros en sus nuevos sitios de atraque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Manzanillo avanza con obras de dragado<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La autorizaci\u00f3n coincide con los trabajos que desarrolla la Administraci\u00f3n del Sistema Portuario Nacional Manzanillo (ASIPONA Manzanillo).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las obras incluyen el <strong>dragado y acondicionamiento de la d\u00e1rsena<\/strong>. Estas tareas buscan facilitar el ingreso de buques con mayores requerimientos de calado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan Contreras, el crecimiento del tama\u00f1o de los buques exige infraestructura capaz de atender nuevas dimensiones. La aprobaci\u00f3n, a\u00f1adi\u00f3, respalda la siguiente etapa de expansi\u00f3n de la terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Contecon complet\u00f3 la Fase 3A de su programa de expansi\u00f3n en 2025. Con ello, elev\u00f3 su capacidad anual a m\u00e1s de <strong>1,77 millones de TEUs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde entonces, la capacidad aument\u00f3 hasta aproximadamente <strong>1,8 millones de TEUs anuales<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>La terminal apunta a 2 millones de TEUs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La empresa tambi\u00e9n avanza en la <strong>Fase 3B<\/strong> de expansi\u00f3n.
