{"id":73195,"date":"2026-08-26T12:32:02","date_gmt":"2026-08-26T15:32:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/todologisticanews.com\/site\/?p=73195"},"modified":"2026-08-27T10:52:02","modified_gmt":"2026-08-27T13:52:02","slug":"bid-y-japon-refuerzan-su-apuesta-por-america-latina","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/todologisticanews.com\/site\/bid-y-japon-refuerzan-su-apuesta-por-america-latina\/","title":{"rendered":"BID y Jap\u00f3n refuerzan su apuesta por Am\u00e9rica Latina"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe est\u00e1n ganando importancia dentro de las cadenas internacionales de abastecimiento de alimentos y minerales considerados estrat\u00e9gicos para la transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> En ese contexto, el <strong>Grupo Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo (BID)<\/strong> y la <strong>Agencia de Cooperaci\u00f3n Internacional del Jap\u00f3n (JICA)<\/strong> ampliaron su esquema de cooperaci\u00f3n financiera; y mantendr\u00e1n hasta 2031 una agenda que incorpora ambos sectores como \u00e1reas prioritarias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El nuevo marco eleva hasta <strong>US$6.500 millones<\/strong> el financiamiento comprometido entre las dos instituciones. A partir del nivel de recursos movilizados en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, el programa podr\u00eda generar otros <strong>US$7.500 millones<\/strong>, llevando el potencial conjunto a unos <strong>US$14.000 millones<\/strong> para proyectos en Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe. Los fondos abarcar\u00e1n distintas \u00e1reas de desarrollo y no estar\u00e1n destinados exclusivamente a alimentos y minerales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uno de los cambios m\u00e1s relevantes se encuentra en el programa de <strong>Cooperaci\u00f3n para la Recuperaci\u00f3n Econ\u00f3mica y la Inclusi\u00f3n Social (CORE)<\/strong>; cuyo objetivo de financiamiento aumentar\u00e1 de US$4.000 millones a <strong>US$5.000 millones<\/strong> hasta 2031. A las \u00e1reas que ya formaban parte de la iniciativa se sumar\u00e1n ahora la agricultura y los minerales cr\u00edticos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La decisi\u00f3n responde al peso creciente de la regi\u00f3n como proveedor internacional de alimentos y materias primas necesarias para industrias como la fabricaci\u00f3n de <strong>bater\u00edas y veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos<\/strong>. Para Jap\u00f3n, contar con fuentes diversificadas de abastecimiento adquiere especial importancia en un escenario marcado por interrupciones log\u00edsticas y una mayor competencia por recursos estrat\u00e9gicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Recursos para infraestrcutura<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El acuerdo tambi\u00e9n contempla recursos para infraestructura y participaci\u00f3n privada. El l\u00edmite del fondo TADAC, administrado mediante BID Invest, aumentar\u00e1 de <strong>US$1.000 millones a US$1.500 millones<\/strong>. Desde su creaci\u00f3n en 2025, este mecanismo ha financiado 12 proyectos en nueve pa\u00edses por US$401 millones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, Jap\u00f3n aportar\u00e1 <strong>US$30 millones<\/strong> a una iniciativa de resiliencia que incluye entre sus objetivos el desarrollo relacionado con minerales cr\u00edticos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La cooperaci\u00f3n contempla tambi\u00e9n infraestructura resiliente y de calidad, un componente clave para conectar zonas productivas con mercados internacionales.
