La decisi\u00f3n responde a una investigaci\u00f3n que concluy\u00f3 que el pa\u00eds sudamericano mantiene pr\u00e1cticas comerciales consideradas desleales por Washington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La medida fue anunciada por la Oficina del Representante Comercial de Estados Unidos (USTR), que se\u00f1al\u00f3 que las negociaciones sostenidas durante el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o no permitieron resolver las diferencias entre ambos pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Algunos productos quedaron exentos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Los nuevos <strong>aranceles a Brasil<\/strong> no alcanzar\u00e1n a determinados bienes que Estados Unidos considera estrat\u00e9gicos para sus cadenas de suministro. Entre los productos excluidos figuran el caf\u00e9, la carne bovina, las naranjas, el jugo de naranja, algunos productos energ\u00e9ticos de petr\u00f3leo y gas, adem\u00e1s de piezas y componentes aeroespaciales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan el representante comercial estadounidense, Jamieson Greer, la medida busca garantizar condiciones de competencia equitativas para las empresas y trabajadores del pa\u00eds, aunque asegur\u00f3 que Washington mantiene abierta la posibilidad de continuar las negociaciones con Brasil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>La investigaci\u00f3n cuestiona pr\u00e1cticas comerciales<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La investigaci\u00f3n, realizada bajo la Secci\u00f3n 301 de la Ley de Comercio de 1974, concluy\u00f3 que Brasil mantiene pol\u00edticas consideradas injustas, entre ellas una aplicaci\u00f3n insuficiente de normas anticorrupci\u00f3n y la existencia de barreras comerciales que afectan a las empresas estadounidenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La decisi\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n gener\u00f3 nuevas tensiones pol\u00edticas entre ambos gobiernos.
