El anuncio se realiz\u00f3 tras una reuni\u00f3n en S\u00e3o Paulo entre la ministra de Relaciones Exteriores de Canad\u00e1, Anita Anand, y el canciller brasile\u00f1o, Mauro Vieira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las negociaciones se retomaron en 2025 despu\u00e9s de varios a\u00f1os de pausa y ya completaron seis rondas de trabajo t\u00e9cnico. Seg\u00fan Vieira, el proceso avanza de forma positiva, aunque a\u00fan quedan algunos aspectos por definir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>El comercio bilateral supera los USD 12.600 millones<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El intercambio comercial entre <strong>Mercosur y Canad\u00e1<\/strong> alcanz\u00f3 <strong>USD 12.600 millones<\/strong> en 2025, de acuerdo con datos del Sistema de Estad\u00edsticas de Comercio Exterior del Mercosur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las exportaciones del bloque sudamericano sumaron <strong>USD 8.702 millones<\/strong>, mientras que las importaciones desde Canad\u00e1 llegaron a <strong>USD 3.912 millones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brasil concentra la mayor parte de ese comercio, con el <strong>83,4%<\/strong> de las exportaciones del Mercosur hacia Canad\u00e1 y el <strong>85,9%<\/strong> de las importaciones. Argentina ocupa el segundo lugar, mientras que Paraguay y Uruguay buscan ampliar su participaci\u00f3n en ese mercado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Impacto para la log\u00edstica y la inversi\u00f3n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Un acuerdo entre <strong>Mercosur y Canad\u00e1<\/strong> podr\u00eda impulsar el transporte mar\u00edtimo entre ambos mercados y aumentar el movimiento de carga contenerizada. Tambi\u00e9n favorecer\u00eda una mayor coordinaci\u00f3n entre puertos, operadores log\u00edsticos y autoridades aduaneras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En paralelo a las negociaciones, Canad\u00e1 anunci\u00f3 una inversi\u00f3n de <strong>USD 89 millones<\/strong> en Brasil para proyectos de infraestructura sostenible, enfocados en ampliar el acceso a la energ\u00eda y desarrollar combustible sostenible para la aviaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las conversaciones se desarrollan en un contexto de diversificaci\u00f3n comercial por parte de Canad\u00e1 y de b\u00fasqueda de nuevos mercados para el Mercosur.
