De acuerdo con el Departamento de Comercio de Estados Unidos, los env\u00edos mexicanos sumaron <strong>54.180 millones de d\u00f3lares<\/strong>; la cifra mensual m\u00e1s alta registrada entre ambos pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El desempe\u00f1o consolida a M\u00e9xico como el principal socio comercial de Estados Unidos, por encima de Canad\u00e1, China, Taiw\u00e1n y Vietnam, en un contexto marcado por cambios en la pol\u00edtica arancelaria estadounidense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Exportaciones de M\u00e9xico a Estados Unidos alcanzan un m\u00e1ximo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante mayo, las importaciones estadounidenses procedentes de M\u00e9xico representaron el <strong>17,4%<\/strong> del total de bienes adquiridos por ese pa\u00eds. Canad\u00e1 ocup\u00f3 el segundo lugar con el <strong>11,7%<\/strong>, seguido por Taiw\u00e1n (<strong>7,9%<\/strong>) y China (<strong>7,5%<\/strong>), seg\u00fan datos analizados por Banamex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el mismo mes, las exportaciones estadounidenses hacia M\u00e9xico totalizaron <strong>33.051 millones de d\u00f3lares<\/strong>, lo que dej\u00f3 un d\u00e9ficit comercial de <strong>21.129 millones de d\u00f3lares<\/strong>, el mayor registrado por Estados Unidos en su intercambio con M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre enero y mayo, las <strong>exportaciones de M\u00e9xico a Estados Unidos<\/strong> acumularon <strong>242.903 millones de d\u00f3lares<\/strong>, mientras que las ventas estadounidenses al mercado mexicano alcanzaron <strong>161.664 millones de d\u00f3lares<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>La inteligencia artificial impulsa el comercio bilateral<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Grupo Financiero Base se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el aumento del d\u00e9ficit comercial estadounidense refleja, en parte, una mayor demanda de equipos de c\u00f3mputo vinculados al crecimiento de la inteligencia artificial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La instituci\u00f3n explic\u00f3 que la inversi\u00f3n en infraestructura tecnol\u00f3gica y centros de datos impuls\u00f3 las importaciones procedentes de econom\u00edas como M\u00e9xico, Taiw\u00e1n y Vietnam. Estos tres pa\u00edses concentran buena parte del suministro de equipos relacionados con el desarrollo de nuevas tecnolog\u00edas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tras conocerse las cifras, el secretario de Econom\u00eda, Marcelo Ebrard, destac\u00f3 que las <strong>exportaciones <\/strong> contin\u00faan creciendo pese al entorno internacional y a la aplicaci\u00f3n de nuevos aranceles.
