La Administraci\u00f3n Nacional de Puertos (ANP) inform\u00f3 que la embarcaci\u00f3n ya realiza tareas de dragado en la terminal y en su canal de acceso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La reincorporaci\u00f3n forma parte de la estrategia de la ANP para fortalecer el dragado nacional. Adem\u00e1s, busca mejorar la eficiencia operativa, aumentar la seguridad y optimizar el uso de los recursos destinados al mantenimiento de la infraestructura portuaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Draga D9 reforzar\u00e1 el plan de dragado<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La actual administraci\u00f3n aprob\u00f3 un programa de inversiones para el per\u00edodo 2025-2029 por aproximadamente <strong>USD 115 millones<\/strong>. De ese total, cerca de <strong>USD 63 millones<\/strong> se destinar\u00e1n al dragado nacional. Esta cifra duplica la inversi\u00f3n ejecutada durante la administraci\u00f3n anterior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan el informe t\u00e9cnico preliminar sobre la flota y el dragado, publicado en diciembre de 2025, la <strong>Draga D9<\/strong> conserva una vida \u00fatil estimada de diez a\u00f1os. La embarcaci\u00f3n fue construida en 1984 y posee 85,2 metros de eslora, 17,7 metros de manga y una capacidad de bodega de 3.000 metros c\u00fabicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La draga sufri\u00f3 una aver\u00eda en diciembre de 2022, cuando una eslinga sumergida da\u00f1\u00f3 la h\u00e9lice de estribor durante trabajos en el antepuerto de Montevideo. Posteriormente, continu\u00f3 operando con una sola propulsi\u00f3n hasta su siguiente ingreso a dique. All\u00ed se comprob\u00f3 que las h\u00e9lices ya no admit\u00edan nuevas reparaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En agosto de 2025 se instalaron h\u00e9lices nuevas bajo la supervisi\u00f3n de la Comisi\u00f3n T\u00e9cnica de la Marina Mercante. M\u00e1s tarde, la embarcaci\u00f3n fue acondicionada en el muelle 11 del Puerto de Montevideo, donde se realizaron tareas de mantenimiento en motores, generadores, tanques y sistemas de dragado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finalmente, en marzo de 2026, la empresa Kongsberg calibr\u00f3 el sistema de paso controlable de las nuevas h\u00e9lices.
