La incorporaci\u00f3n busca fortalecer la conectividad log\u00edstica y ampliar las opciones para exportadores e importadores bolivianos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Ministerio de Obras P\u00fablicas, Servicios y Vivienda inform\u00f3 que el primer vuelo de la compa\u00f1\u00eda llegar\u00e1 al Aeropuerto Internacional de Viru Viru, en Santa Cruz, procedente de Miami. Posteriormente, la aeronave continuar\u00e1 su ruta hacia Florian\u00f3polis, en Brasil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Operar\u00e1 con aviones Boeing 767-300F<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan las autoridades, en esta primera operaci\u00f3n se transportar\u00e1n cerca de <strong>25.000 kilogramos de mercanc\u00edas<\/strong> con destino a Bolivia. ABSA Cargo utilizar\u00e1 aeronaves <strong>Boeing 767-300F<\/strong>, con capacidad para movilizar hasta <strong>55.000 kilogramos de carga<\/strong> por vuelo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El ministro de Obras P\u00fablicas, Mauricio Zamora, explic\u00f3 que la aerol\u00ednea operar\u00e1 bajo el r\u00e9gimen de la <strong>s\u00e9ptima libertad del aire<\/strong>; mecanismo que permite a compa\u00f1\u00edas extranjeras realizar vuelos internacionales de carga entre Bolivia y terceros pa\u00edses sin necesidad de partir desde su pa\u00eds de origen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Crece la oferta de carga a\u00e9rea<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Con la llegada de ABSA Cargo, Bolivia cuenta ahora con un operador nacional y cuatro aerol\u00edneas extranjeras dedicadas exclusivamente al transporte de carga. Adem\u00e1s de la filial del grupo LATAM, el mercado incluye a Aercaribe Cargo, Copa Cargo y Tampa Cargo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Copa Cargo inici\u00f3 operaciones en Bolivia en noviembre de 2025; mientras que Tampa Cargo comenz\u00f3 a operar el pasado 5 de junio. Antes de noviembre de 2025, el transporte a\u00e9reo de carga estaba atendido \u00fanicamente por la estatal Transportes A\u00e9reos Bolivianos (TAB) y Aercaribe Cargo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Gobierno considera que la incorporaci\u00f3n de nuevos operadores incrementar\u00e1 la capacidad log\u00edstica del pa\u00eds.
