De los m\u00e1s de 400 puertos evaluados a nivel mundial, solo 13 de la regi\u00f3n lograron ingresar al top 100.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Posorja se destac\u00f3 por el avance registrado en los \u00faltimos cinco a\u00f1os. Su puntuaci\u00f3n pas\u00f3 de 34 puntos en 2020 a 104 en 2025; uno de los mayores incrementos del \u00edndice. Aunque con una ligera reducci\u00f3n de tres puntos frente a la medici\u00f3n de 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Puertos latinoamericanos en el top 100<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El informe se\u00f1ala que el 89% del tiempo de permanencia de los buques en Posorja correspondi\u00f3 a operaciones efectivas en muelle; resultado obtenido a partir del an\u00e1lisis de 363 recaladas de portacontenedores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante 2025, el terminal moviliz\u00f3 946.742 TEU y alcanz\u00f3 cerca del 30% del mercado contenerizado de Ecuador. La infraestructura es operada por DP World desde 2016 mediante una concesi\u00f3n de 50 a\u00f1os bajo la modalidad de alianza p\u00fablico-privada. Este a\u00f1o, la compa\u00f1\u00eda inaugur\u00f3 una ampliaci\u00f3n del muelle como parte de una inversi\u00f3n superior a los 190 millones de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el ranking regional, Puerto Coronel, en Chile, ocup\u00f3 el segundo lugar al situarse en la posici\u00f3n 26 del listado global; seguido por Itapo\u00e1, en Brasil, en el puesto 39.
