Una de las iniciativas de infraestructura portuaria m\u00e1s importantes de Chile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El monto corresponde al primer tramo de un cr\u00e9dito por <strong>US$150 millones<\/strong>; aprobado por CAF hace poco m\u00e1s de un a\u00f1o y respaldado por la garant\u00eda de la Rep\u00fablica de Chile. Los fondos estar\u00e1n destinados a cubrir parte de las obras previstas para el per\u00edodo 2026-2027. Mientras que el resto del financiamiento podr\u00e1 utilizarse en etapas posteriores si resulta necesario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Avanza el financiamiento del proyecto<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La entrega de los recursos se formaliz\u00f3 en una ceremonia encabezada por el presidente del directorio de EPSA, Sergio Merino G\u00f3mez; el gerente general (i), Fernando Gajardo; y el representante de CAF en Chile, Juli\u00e1n Su\u00e1rez Migliozzi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las obras habilitantes del <strong>Puerto Exterior<\/strong> demandan una inversi\u00f3n estimada de <strong>US$300 millones<\/strong>. De ese total, la mitad se cubrir\u00e1 mediante el cr\u00e9dito de CAF; y el resto con recursos propios de la empresa portuaria estatal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El desembolso se produce mientras contin\u00faa el debate sobre el financiamiento de otras obras estrat\u00e9gicas del proyecto; como el molo de abrigo. El Gobierno chileno se\u00f1al\u00f3 que analiza alternativas de financiamiento internacional; y mecanismos con la banca multilateral para apoyar esta infraestructura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En paralelo, el proyecto contin\u00faa avanzando tras obtener en mayo la Resoluci\u00f3n de Calificaci\u00f3n Ambiental (RCA).
