El complejo portuario moviliz\u00f3 837.993 TEU durante el tercer mes de 2026, logrando un crecimiento del 6,9% interanual. Este dinamismo permiti\u00f3 que el acumulado del primer trimestre alcanzara los 2.177.694 TEU procesados. Las importaciones fueron el principal motor de esta actividad al registrar un aumento del 11,4% en marzo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En total, se recibieron 425.453 TEU cargados con mercanc\u00edas destinadas al consumo interno y la industria. A pesar del fuerte cierre del trimestre, el volumen acumulado de recepciones muestra un ligero retroceso del 1,6% comparado con 2025. Durante el primer trimestre, la actividad ferroviaria fue un 20,8% superior a la registrada en el mismo periodo del a\u00f1o anterior. Este incremento refleja una mayor eficiencia en la conectividad terrestre del puerto con el interior del pa\u00eds. La log\u00edstica intermodal se consolida as\u00ed como una ventaja competitiva para el nodo neoyorquino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por el contrario, el sector automotriz experiment\u00f3 una contracci\u00f3n en sus niveles de tr\u00e1nsito por el puerto. Un total de 35.044 veh\u00edculos pasaron por las terminales en marzo, lo que signific\u00f3 una disminuci\u00f3n del 7,5%. En el acumulado del a\u00f1o, el movimiento de autom\u00f3viles es un 8,6% menor que en el primer trimestre de 2025. El despacho de piezas contenerizadas vac\u00edas tambi\u00e9n registr\u00f3 un descenso del 2,9% en el periodo enero-marzo.
