La UNCTAD alert\u00f3 sobre los impactos que la interrupci\u00f3n del tr\u00e1fico mar\u00edtimo en este corredor estrat\u00e9gico puede generar en la agricultura. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pa\u00edses con alta dependencia de importaciones podr\u00edan enfrentar escasez o aumentos de precios, advirti\u00f3 el organismo internacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El estrecho conecta el Golfo P\u00e9rsico con las rutas mar\u00edtimas globales; y tambi\u00e9n concentra gran parte del transporte de energ\u00eda y materias primas. Tras los ataques de Estados Unidos e Israel contra Ir\u00e1n, las perturbaciones ya empiezan a trasladarse a distintos sectores econ\u00f3micos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Un tercio atraviesa este corredor<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan la UNCTAD, cerca de un tercio del comercio mar\u00edtimo mundial de fertilizantes; equivalente a 16 millones de toneladas al a\u00f1o, atraviesa este corredor. La interrupci\u00f3n de este flujo podr\u00eda afectar la producci\u00f3n agr\u00edcola, incrementar los costos de alimentos; as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n poner presi\u00f3n sobre la seguridad alimentaria en varias regiones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los datos recientes muestran un descenso abrupto del tr\u00e1nsito mar\u00edtimo; mientras que entre el 1 y el 27 de febrero cruzaban 129 embarcaciones diarias, a finales de la semana pasada solo cuatro buques lo hac\u00edan. Esta ca\u00edda impacta tambi\u00e9n en el transporte energ\u00e9tico, donde circula aproximadamente una cuarta parte del petr\u00f3leo mar\u00edtimo, gas natural licuado, productos refinados y qu\u00edmicos; incluidos fertilizantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La crisis genera un aumento en los costos log\u00edsticos; incluyendo fletes, primas de seguros por riesgo de guerra y combustible mar\u00edtimo. Esto eleva el costo del transporte internacional y afecta directamente las cadenas de suministro globales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los analistas advierten que los pa\u00edses en desarrollo podr\u00edan sufrir m\u00e1s;debido a niveles elevados de deuda y costos financieros que limitan su capacidad de absorber nuevos aumentos.
