Denominado Marco Polo, o servi\u00e7o tinha deixado de atender o porto paranaense devido aos congestionamentos dos cais especializados na recep\u00e7\u00e3o de embarca\u00e7\u00f5es de cont\u00eaineres.<\/p>\n<p>Em nota, o vice-presidente de Opera\u00e7\u00f5es do Grupo CSAV, David Giacomini, destacou que houve casos de navios esperando at\u00e9 nove dias para atracar. Recentemente, a superintend\u00eancia da APPA (Administra\u00e7\u00e3o dos Portos de Paranagu\u00e1 e Antonina) assinou a concess\u00e3o de janelas para navios de cont\u00eaineres operarem no cais p\u00fablico.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abAgora temos a garantia da atraca\u00e7\u00e3o na chegada do navio, o que permitir\u00e1 que o servi\u00e7o retorne ao Porto de Paranagu\u00e1\u00bb, completou o executivo.<\/p>\n<p>O Marco Polo atende o tr\u00e1fego entre Brasil e Oriente M\u00e9dio embarcando grandes volumes de carga congelada destinadas \u00e0queles pa\u00edses asi\u00e1ticos. \u00abEssa garantia permite \u00e0 CSAV reafirmar seu compromisso hist\u00f3rico com os exportadores e importadores do estado do Paran\u00e1\u00bb, acrescentou o gerente geral do armador chileno no Brasil, Luigi Ferrini.<\/p>\n<p>Em 2009, a CSAV dividiu com a Maersk Line o terceiro lugar no ranking dos principais armadores de cont\u00eaineres em volumes, de acordo com levantamento da consultoria mar\u00edtima brasileira Datamar.
