El convenio contempla la contrataci\u00f3n de 18.000 toneladas de CO\u2082e bajo un esquema verificable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La reducci\u00f3n de emisiones Scope 3 se generar\u00e1 mediante el uso de combustibles marinos sostenibles en la flota operada por Hapag-Lloyd. El per\u00edodo contractual comenzar\u00e1 en 2026 e incorporar\u00e1 biocombustibles de segunda generaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estos combustibles se producen a partir de residuos y materias primas basadas en desechos. Por tanto, respaldan avances medibles hacia el objetivo de cero emisiones netas en el transporte oce\u00e1nico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Acuerdo pionero en combustibles alternativos<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El nuevo marco ampl\u00eda una cooperaci\u00f3n iniciada en 2022 entre ambas compa\u00f1\u00edas en materia de biocombustibles. Adem\u00e1s, se convierte en el primero de su tipo al permitir la inclusi\u00f3n de otras fuentes de combustibles sostenibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las 18.000 toneladas de CO\u2082e fueron calculadas bajo el enfoque well-to-wake. En consecuencia, se considera el ciclo completo del combustible, desde su producci\u00f3n hasta su uso final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El mecanismo adoptado es book-and-claim, lo que permite a los clientes reclamar reducciones verificadas. De este modo, se garantiza trazabilidad en un contexto de disponibilidad limitada de combustibles sostenibles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hapag-Lloyd apunta a lograr operaciones de flota con emisiones netas cero en 2045. Por su parte, DSV se comprometi\u00f3 a alcanzar cero emisiones netas en su operaci\u00f3n y cadena de valor en 2050.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ambas empresas sostienen que los biocombustibles representan actualmente la opci\u00f3n m\u00e1s disponible y escalable en el transporte mar\u00edtimo.
