La cifra fue informada por la Empresa Portuaria Iquique (EPI) y analizada por PortalPortuario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Del total transferido, 245.318 toneladas correspondieron a carga boliviana embarcada desde el recinto portuario. Octubre fue el mes con mayor actividad, al alcanzar 38.833 toneladas embarcadas.<br>En contraste, junio registr\u00f3 el menor volumen, con apenas 12.704 toneladas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En cuanto al desembarque, se movilizaron 643.502 toneladas de mercanc\u00edas con destino final en Bolivia.<br>Marzo lider\u00f3 este segmento con 89.125 toneladas transferidas. Agosto marc\u00f3 el nivel m\u00e1s bajo del per\u00edodo, con 46.989 toneladas desembarcadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El comportamiento mensual mostr\u00f3 variaciones relevantes a lo largo del a\u00f1o. En enero se manipularon 98.233 toneladas, mientras febrero cerr\u00f3 con 80.247 toneladas.  Marzo alcanz\u00f3 107.246 toneladas, seguido por abril con 67.974 toneladas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En mayo se transfirieron 97.222 toneladas y en junio 75.384 toneladas. Julio totaliz\u00f3 96.273 toneladas, agosto 81.231 toneladas y septiembre 87.993 toneladas. Octubre cerr\u00f3 con 97.017 toneladas movilizadas.<br>El promedio mensual fue de 88.882 toneladas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante 2024, el Puerto de Iquique moviliz\u00f3 901.253 toneladas de carga ligada a Bolivia. Ese volumen fue inferior al registrado en 2023 y 2022. Las cifras reflejan el rol del recinto como facilitador log\u00edstico regional. Su operaci\u00f3n permite mantener conectada a la Macro Regi\u00f3n Andina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las proyecciones apuntan a un crecimiento sostenido de esta actividad. El puerto forma parte de uno de los ejes del Plan de Acci\u00f3n del Corredor Bioce\u00e1nico Vial. Dicho plan fue presentado por el Gobierno de Chile en abril.
