Esta ruta establece un v\u00ednculo directo entre Asia y el Puerto del Callao, y se posiciona como una alternativa competitiva frente a Chancay y su conexi\u00f3n con Shangh\u00e1i.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Un servicio directo y de alta capacidad<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante la ceremonia de inauguraci\u00f3n, Santillana explic\u00f3 que las naves de este servicio parten de la costa americana con <strong>capacidad para 16.000 contenedores<\/strong>, y completan la traves\u00eda entre el Callao y Asia en <strong>23 d\u00edas<\/strong>. Seg\u00fan el ejecutivo, el bucle ya est\u00e1 mostrando un desempe\u00f1o s\u00f3lido debido a la respuesta favorable de los operadores de comercio exterior en Per\u00fa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las embarcaciones est\u00e1n recibiendo <strong>todo tipo de carga<\/strong>, lo que ha generado una ocupaci\u00f3n total en las primeras operaciones. \u201cLos barcos est\u00e1n saliendo llenos. Ya son tres naves las que zarparon con este servicio\u201d, destac\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Inicio oficial con el MSC Lome V<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El <strong>MSC Lome V<\/strong> fue el primer portacontenedores del servicio Alpaca en llegar al pa\u00eds. Su recalada en <strong>APM Terminals Callao<\/strong>, el 28 de octubre de 2025, marc\u00f3 el inicio oficial de esta nueva prestaci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, la ruta contempla un enlace directo con <strong>al menos tres puertos chilenos<\/strong>, ampliando el alcance del servicio en la costa del Pac\u00edfico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong>Competencia directa con Chancay<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Santillana reconoci\u00f3 que el lanzamiento del servicio Alpaca es una respuesta clara al avance del Puerto de Chancay, operado por la estatal china Cosco Shipping Ports. \u201cEstamos compitiendo con Chancay. Ya no solo se deber\u00eda hablar de la ruta Chancay\u2013Shangh\u00e1i, sino tambi\u00e9n de <strong>Callao\u2013Busan<\/strong>, que es igual de competitiva\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El ejecutivo tambi\u00e9n sostuvo que la expansi\u00f3n portuaria es beneficiosa para el pa\u00eds. \u201cMientras m\u00e1s puertos haya, ser\u00e1 mejor para la econom\u00eda peruana\u201d, indic\u00f3.
