La capacidad aument\u00f3 <strong>4,5\u202f%<\/strong> y el <strong>factor de ocupaci\u00f3n alcanz\u00f3 un r\u00e9cord para agosto de 86\u202f%<\/strong>, reflejando un intenso tr\u00e1fico durante la temporada alta del hemisferio norte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Impulso internacional<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El crecimiento internacional fue m\u00e1s pronunciado, con un <strong>6,6\u202f%<\/strong> de aumento en demanda y <strong>6,5\u202f%<\/strong> en capacidad. El factor de ocupaci\u00f3n internacional se ubic\u00f3 en 85,8\u202f%, tambi\u00e9n un r\u00e9cord. Este segmento represent\u00f3 <strong>87\u202f% del incremento neto<\/strong> de pasajeros en agosto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Rendimiento por regi\u00f3n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En Asia-Pac\u00edfico, la demanda internacional subi\u00f3 <strong>9,8\u202f%<\/strong>, impulsada por China y Jap\u00f3n, mientras que la capacidad creci\u00f3 <strong>9,5\u202f%<\/strong> y el factor de ocupaci\u00f3n fue 85,1\u202f%. Europa aument\u00f3 <strong>5,3\u202f%<\/strong> en demanda con factor de ocupaci\u00f3n estable, y Norteam\u00e9rica creci\u00f3 1,8\u202f% con un factor de ocupaci\u00f3n de 87,5\u202f%, el cuarto mes consecutivo de leve descenso en este indicador. Medio Oriente y Latinoam\u00e9rica aumentaron 8,2\u202f% y 9\u202f% respectivamente, mientras que \u00c1frica registr\u00f3 un crecimiento de 7,1\u202f%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Mercados dom\u00e9sticos<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>El tr\u00e1fico dom\u00e9stico creci\u00f3 1,5\u202f% en agosto, aportando solo 13\u202f% del aumento global, frente al 25\u202f% registrado un a\u00f1o antes. Brasil destac\u00f3 con un aumento de 12,7\u202f%, favorecido por pol\u00edticas de promoci\u00f3n tur\u00edstica. Por el contrario, el mercado dom\u00e9stico estadounidense mostr\u00f3 una ca\u00edda de 0,2\u202f% en RPK y descenso en el factor de ocupaci\u00f3n por octavo mes consecutivo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2>Perspectivas<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Willie Walsh, Director General de IATA, destac\u00f3 que la expansi\u00f3n sostenida refleja <strong>un r\u00e9cord de eficiencia en ocupaci\u00f3n de aviones<\/strong>, pese a incertidumbres econ\u00f3micas y tensiones geopol\u00edticas.
