Su emisi\u00f3n asegura que la reducci\u00f3n de emisiones no se contabilice dos veces; y que los cr\u00e9ditos puedan ser utilizados por las aerol\u00edneas para compensar emisiones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sin estas cartas, existe un <strong>d\u00e9ficit severo<\/strong> de unidades elegibles para CORSIA (EEUs). IATA estima que entre 2024 y 2026 las aerol\u00edneas necesitar\u00e1n entre <strong>146 y 236 millones de cr\u00e9ditos<\/strong>; mientras que la oferta actual se limita a <strong>15,8 millones emitidos por Guyana<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Llamados desde la industria<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCORSIA es una parte vital de la estrategia clim\u00e1tica de la aviaci\u00f3n. Para liberar su potencial, los estados deben autorizar los cr\u00e9ditos con LoAs\u201d. Afirm\u00f3 <strong>Yue Huang<\/strong>, directora adjunta de Pol\u00edtica Clim\u00e1tica de IATA, durante la Asamblea de la OACI en Montreal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por su parte, <strong>Adefunke Adeyemi<\/strong>, secretaria general de la Comisi\u00f3n Africana de Aviaci\u00f3n Civil (AFCAC), subray\u00f3 que \u00c1frica apoya CORSIA y necesita acceso a cr\u00e9ditos para <strong>atraer financiamiento clim\u00e1tico<\/strong>; y mostrar compromiso con la sostenibilidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Orientaci\u00f3n a los gobiernos<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Para facilitar el proceso, IATA ha publicado gu\u00edas y herramientas pr\u00e1cticas dirigidas a los estados.
