Esto equivale a m\u00e1s de un mill\u00f3n de viajeros adicionales, consolidando su rol como <em>hub<\/em> regional de clase mundial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Crecimiento constante de pasajeros<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan el gerente general, Jos\u00e9 Ruiz, Tocumen es la principal puerta de entrada a Latinoam\u00e9rica y refleja el compromiso de Panam\u00e1 con la conectividad. Solo en agosto se movilizaron 1.851.451 pasajeros, con un promedio diario de 59.724 movimientos. Los d\u00edas de mayor flujo fueron jueves, viernes, domingo y lunes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Del total mensual, el 74 % correspondi\u00f3 a pasajeros en tr\u00e1nsito o transferencia, equivalente a 1.365.912 viajeros. En cuanto al ingreso de visitantes, entre enero y agosto desembarcaron 1.882.031 pasajeros, un 4 % m\u00e1s que en 2024. Por su parte, los embarques hacia destinos internacionales sumaron 1.925.779, manteni\u00e9ndose estables frente al a\u00f1o anterior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>M\u00e1s operaciones y carga en aumento<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La actividad a\u00e9rea tambi\u00e9n creci\u00f3. En los primeros ocho meses hubo 109.260 operaciones, un alza del 8 % con 7.864 vuelos adicionales. Solo en agosto se registraron 14.279 operaciones, un 10 % m\u00e1s interanual, con un promedio diario de 413 vuelos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El 90 % de los movimientos correspondi\u00f3 a vuelos comerciales, 7 % a carga, 2 % a aviaci\u00f3n general y 1 % a operaciones especiales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las cinco rutas m\u00e1s activas en agosto fueron Bogot\u00e1, San Jos\u00e9, Miami, Medell\u00edn y Punta Cana.
