Hasta agosto se registraron 867.800 viajeros, lo que equivale al 74 % del total alcanzado en todo 2024, seg\u00fan la Direcci\u00f3n Nacional de Aeron\u00e1utica Civil (Dinac).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con este ritmo, en octubre se superar\u00e1 el volumen del a\u00f1o pasado y se proyecta cerrar el ejercicio con alrededor de 1,3 millones de pasajeros, nivel comparable al de la prepandemia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Eventos que impulsaron el tr\u00e1fico a\u00e9reo<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El Mundial de Rally y los Juegos Panamericanos Junior, celebrados en agosto, fueron clave para el repunte. Ese mes, el tr\u00e1fico creci\u00f3 20 % frente al promedio mensual de 15 %.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEl desempe\u00f1o del personal fue excelente, con un trabajo interinstitucional que permiti\u00f3 responder al incremento de la demanda\u201d, afirm\u00f3 Jos\u00e9 Ch\u00e1vez, director de Aeropuertos de la Dinac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>Obras de modernizaci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El funcionario record\u00f3 que avanzan las obras de modernizaci\u00f3n en Silvio Pettirossi, cuya infraestructura principal data de los a\u00f1os 80. Los trabajos incluyen la ampliaci\u00f3n del \u00e1rea de embarque hacia el norte, remodelaci\u00f3n de ba\u00f1os, nuevos sistemas, m\u00e1s cintas transportadoras y espacios para Migraciones y Aduanas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3>M\u00e1s conectividad desde Encarnaci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El crecimiento no se limita a Asunci\u00f3n. En el aeropuerto Teniente Amin Ayub Gonz\u00e1lez de Encarnaci\u00f3n, los primeros vuelos internacionales fueron calificados como \u201cexcelentes\u201d.
