Seg\u00fan el Royal Bank, cerca del 90 % de las exportaciones canadienses ingresaron a EE.UU. sin aranceles en abril. El primer ministro canadiense Mark Carney destac\u00f3 que m\u00e1s del 85 % del comercio bilateral contin\u00faa libre de aranceles; aunque sectores como autos, acero y aluminio enfrentan aranceles espec\u00edficos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En M\u00e9xico, el arancel del 25 % se mantiene solo sobre la parte del comercio no cubierta por el T-MEC; que abarca m\u00e1s del 84 % del comercio bilateral. La presidenta Claudia Sheinbaum enfatiz\u00f3 que lo protegido por el tratado no paga aranceles, mientras que lo fuera s\u00ed. El secretario Marcelo Ebrard coincidi\u00f3 en que M\u00e9xico est\u00e1 bien posicionado gracias al acuerdo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No obstante, el T-MEC est\u00e1 sujeto a revisi\u00f3n en 2026, y existen riesgos debido a la guerra comercial y la incertidumbre econ\u00f3mica. John Manley, exministro canadiense, advirti\u00f3 que perder el tratado o enfrentar aranceles elevados podr\u00eda afectar gravemente las inversiones y la estabilidad econ\u00f3mica de ambos pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aunque Canad\u00e1 y M\u00e9xico conservan acceso preferencial a EE.UU., sectores clave canadienses como automotriz, acero, aluminio, farmac\u00e9utico y madera est\u00e1n siendo afectados por medidas espec\u00edficas.
