Ahora los productores, especialmente del sur del pa\u00eds, deben prepararse para abastecer esta oportunidad\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Cerrato.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Estrategia de apertura comercial<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>El permiso es resultado de gestiones directas del Gobierno hondure\u00f1o; y tambi\u00e9n forma parte de una estrategia que tambi\u00e9n incluye acercamientos con la <strong>Uni\u00f3n Europea<\/strong>; con el objetivo de impulsar el desarrollo econ\u00f3mico y atraer inversi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Contexto del sector camaronero<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>La apertura al mercado surcoreano llega en un momento cr\u00edtico para la industria camaronera hondure\u00f1a; afectada tras la ruptura diplom\u00e1tica con <strong>Taiw\u00e1n<\/strong> en 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esa decisi\u00f3n impuso <strong>aranceles<\/strong> al camar\u00f3n hondure\u00f1o exportado a <strong>China<\/strong>, adem\u00e1s de reducir su precio de compra. Seg\u00fan la <strong>Asociaci\u00f3n Nacional de Acuicultores de Honduras (Andah)<\/strong>, en 2024 las exportaciones cayeron a <strong>29 millones de kilogramos<\/strong>, frente a los casi <strong>36 millones<\/strong> de 2023, mientras los ingresos disminuyeron de <strong>USD 272,6 millones<\/strong> a <strong>USD 237 millones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En julio de 2024 se enviaron a China los primeros <strong>dos contenedores con 36 toneladas<\/strong>, con la meta de exportar hasta <strong>250 contenedores<\/strong> antes de fin de a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Nueva oportunidad en Asia<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>El acceso al mercado surcoreano representa un alivio para el sector.
