M\u00e1s all\u00e1 del contenedor, la carga general creci\u00f3 12% y las importaciones de acero, 11% en lo que va del a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El tonelaje total en instalaciones p\u00fablicas alcanz\u00f3 los 22,9 millones de toneladas, un incremento del 2% respecto a 2024. Para mantener esta tendencia, Port Houston mantiene su crecimiento con mejoras operativas, como el sistema <em>Express Pass<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este programa, implementado en 2024, optimiza las operaciones de acceso mediante citas programadas para el transporte terrestre. Actualmente se ampl\u00eda con funciones adicionales para gestionar el tr\u00e1fico antes de la llegada a terminales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Otra iniciativa clave es la plataforma EVP, basada en la nube, que ofrece datos operativos en tiempo real.<br>Permite a los usuarios suscribirse a alertas sobre buques, inventarios y servicios viales, mejorando la toma de decisiones.<br>\u201cQueremos ofrecer valor en cada etapa del proceso log\u00edstico\u201d, dijo Charlie Jenkins, CEO de Port Houston.<br>Destac\u00f3 que EVP facilita el acceso a datos, reduciendo ineficiencias en la cadena de suministro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Port Houston mantiene su crecimiento con m\u00e1s inversiones previstas para este a\u00f1o.<br>Entre ellas, la expansi\u00f3n del Canal de Navegaci\u00f3n, <em>Project 11<\/em>, que concluir\u00e1 en verano.<br>Este canal ya es el m\u00e1s activo de EE.
