La reducci\u00f3n respondi\u00f3 a trabajos de mantenimiento y diversas interrupciones en las principales plantas productoras del pa\u00eds, seg\u00fan datos preliminares de LSEG.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cheniere Energy confirm\u00f3 tareas de mantenimiento en Sabine Pass, su planta de 30 mtpa ubicada en Texas, la mayor del pa\u00eds. Los flujos de gas hacia esa instalaci\u00f3n se redujeron a 3,1 bcfd a fines de mayo, el nivel m\u00e1s bajo en 23 meses. En contraste, el promedio semanal anterior fue de 4,3 bcfd. Adem\u00e1s, Freeport LNG, el tercer mayor exportador estadounidense, tambi\u00e9n experiment\u00f3 interrupciones operativas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pese a la ca\u00edda, Estados Unidos mantuvo su posici\u00f3n como el principal exportador global de GNL. No obstante, las variaciones mensuales en su producci\u00f3n siguen influyendo en los precios internacionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Europa continu\u00f3 siendo el principal destino del GNL estadounidense, absorbiendo 6,05 MT, equivalente al 68% del total, mismo porcentaje que en abril. El repunte de los precios en el hub europeo TTF \u2014que subieron a 11,68 d\u00f3lares por mmBtu en mayo\u2014 incentiv\u00f3 estos env\u00edos. En cambio, las exportaciones hacia Asia se mantuvieron moderadas, con 1,88 MT, o el 21% del total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>China, a pesar de ser el mayor consumidor mundial de GNL, sigue revendi\u00e9ndolo para evitar los aranceles de represalia vigentes por su disputa comercial con Estados Unidos. La d\u00e9bil demanda industrial, mayor producci\u00f3n interna y expansi\u00f3n de renovables tambi\u00e9n influyeron.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Am\u00e9rica Latina y Medio Oriente recibieron vol\u00famenes menores. Egipto import\u00f3 0,22 MT y Bar\u00e9in, 0,07 MT.
