Estas unidades reforzar\u00e1n el proyecto del tren Lima\u2013Chosica. El embarque comenzar\u00e1 el 20 de junio desde el Puerto de Stockton, en California, seg\u00fan informaron fuentes oficiales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El alcalde de Lima, Rafael L\u00f3pez, asegur\u00f3 que las unidades son totalmente compatibles con la trocha peruana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAhora la trocha que existe all\u00e1 es igual a la del Per\u00fa, lo que quiere decir que el tren funcionar\u00e1 perfectamente\u201d, declar\u00f3. L\u00f3pez agreg\u00f3 que las unidades ferroviarias est\u00e1n en buen estado y tienen caracter\u00edsticas t\u00e9cnicas modernas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEsta es una maquinaria de lujo. No estamos trayendo cualquier cosa\u201d, remarc\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los trenes cuentan con estructura de acero inoxidable, aire acondicionado y coches de dos niveles para mayor capacidad. La marcha blanca del tren podr\u00eda comenzar a fines de julio, una vez que las unidades lleguen al Callao.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tras su desembarque, se usar\u00e1n mangas especiales para montar los vagones sobre rieles. El servicio cubrir\u00e1 el tramo entre Chosica y Lima, un eje de transporte estrat\u00e9gico para la capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se espera movilizar a 20.000 pasajeros diarios una vez que el sistema est\u00e9 operativo. La operaci\u00f3n del tren estar\u00e1 a cargo del Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones del Per\u00fa. La llegada de esta flota marca un paso clave para mejorar el transporte ferroviario urbano en la capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, representa un esfuerzo de cooperaci\u00f3n internacional orientado a fortalecer la infraestructura nacional.
