As\u00ed, su capacidad total de transporte llega a 6.599.263 TEU, lo que representa una participaci\u00f3n de mercado global del 20,5%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Del total de naves, 621 son de propiedad de MSC, con una capacidad conjunta de 3.588.642 TEU. En tanto, 294 buques son fletados y pueden movilizar 3.010.621 TEU. La compa\u00f1\u00eda proyecta sumar 129 barcos adicionales, lo que incrementar\u00e1 su capacidad en 2.086.870 TEU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con este crecimiento, MSC se consolida como la principal naviera del mundo, superando ampliamente a sus competidores directos en capacidad y volumen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En segundo lugar se ubica Maersk, con 734 buques portacontenedores y una capacidad total de 4.572.192 TEU. Le sigue CMA CGM, que opera 674 barcos con espacio para 3.620.778 TEU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El cuarto lugar lo ocupa Cosco Shipping. La compa\u00f1\u00eda china cuenta con 522 buques y una capacidad total de 3.362.417 TEU. En la quinta posici\u00f3n est\u00e1 la alemana Hapag-Lloyd, cuya flota se compone de 303 portacontenedores y una capacidad de 2.404.388 TEU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El aumento de la flota de MSC refuerza su estrategia de crecimiento sostenido, con fuerte inversi\u00f3n en nuevas embarcaciones y control operativo directo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MSC y su liderazgo se enmarca en un escenario desafiante, con sobrecapacidad global, ajustes de tarifas y nuevos est\u00e1ndares ambientales.
