La ceremonia tuvo lugar en el r\u00edo Derwent, en Hobart, capital del estado australiano de Tasmania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actualmente identificado como <em>Hull 096<\/em>, este ferry fue calificado por Robert Clifford, director de Incat, como el proyecto m\u00e1s ambicioso y complejo desarrollado por el astillero. Adem\u00e1s, es el noveno buque que la empresa construye para Buquebus; y se convierte en el ferry 100% el\u00e9ctrico m\u00e1s grande del mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con una eslora de 130 metros, el <em>China Zorrilla<\/em> podr\u00e1 transportar hasta 2.100 pasajeros y 225 veh\u00edculos. Tambi\u00e9n contar\u00e1 con una tienda <em>duty free<\/em> de 2.000 m\u00b2. Inicialmente, el dise\u00f1o contemplaba el uso de gas natural licuado (GNL); sin embargo, las conversaciones entre Incat y Buquebus llevaron a optar por una propulsi\u00f3n completamente el\u00e9ctrica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La financiaci\u00f3n del proyecto incluy\u00f3 un pr\u00e9stamo de USD 107 millones otorgado por Santander Uruguay; junto a una garant\u00eda parcial de cr\u00e9dito del Grupo Banco Mundial por USD 67 millones. Adicionalmente, Buquebus invertir\u00e1 USD 14 millones en infraestructura de carga el\u00e9ctrica en los puertos de Buenos Aires y Colonia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El servicio oficial del <em>China Zorrilla<\/em> comenzar\u00e1 en octubre de 2025; convirti\u00e9ndose en un hito para el transporte fluvial sostenible en el Cono Sur.
