El despegue se realiz\u00f3 a las 19:01 hora local; tras ser reprogramado por condiciones clim\u00e1ticas adversas el pasado 9 de abril.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estos sat\u00e9lites se separar\u00e1n del cohete a <strong>unos 450 km sobre la Tierra<\/strong>; formando parte de una constelaci\u00f3n que ofrecer\u00e1 <strong>Internet de alta velocidad y baja latencia<\/strong> desde el espacio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El objetivo del <strong>Proyecto Kuiper<\/strong> es poner en \u00f3rbita m\u00e1s de <strong>3.200 sat\u00e9lites en \u00f3rbita terrestre baja<\/strong> (a menos de 2.000 km de altitud). Amazon busca as\u00ed competir con sistemas como <strong>Starlink (SpaceX)<\/strong>, <strong>OneWeb<\/strong> y la china <strong>SpaceSail<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Comisi\u00f3n Federal de Comunicaciones (FCC) otorg\u00f3 a Amazon plazo hasta julio de 2026 para lanzar al menos la mitad de su constelaci\u00f3n. La inversi\u00f3n total podr\u00eda alcanzar los <strong>10.000 millones de d\u00f3lares<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amazon conf\u00eda en <strong>ULA para 46 lanzamientos<\/strong>, incluyendo ocho con cohetes Atlas V y 38 con la nave Vulcan. Tambi\u00e9n recurrir\u00e1 a <strong>Blue Origin<\/strong>, la empresa aeroespacial de Jeff Bezos, y a <strong>SpaceX<\/strong>, su actual competidor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan la compa\u00f1\u00eda, los sat\u00e9lites lanzados esta semana representan una <strong>evoluci\u00f3n tecnol\u00f3gica significativa<\/strong>; respecto a los prototipos utilizados en octubre de 2023.
