El origen: una huelga laboral en el terminal Hutchinson Port Delta II, por disputas sobre el Acuerdo Colectivo de Trabajo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La paralizaci\u00f3n caus\u00f3 cierres totales, reducci\u00f3n de movimientos por hora y congesti\u00f3n acumulada. Aunque la operativa volvi\u00f3 a su capacidad total el 12 de marzo, los tiempos de espera contin\u00faan elevados. En promedio, los buques aguardan siete d\u00edas para atraque, cifra que iguala el m\u00e1ximo hist\u00f3rico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El impacto ha sido significativo para exportadores de Chile, Per\u00fa, Colombia y otros pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n. \u201cMuchos han debido activar p\u00f3lizas de seguros y considerar acciones legales\u201d, coment\u00f3 Miguel Segovia, jefe del \u00e1rea de Transportes y Seguros de Araya &amp; C\u00eda. Tambi\u00e9n enfatiz\u00f3 la importancia de actuar estrat\u00e9gicamente si las coberturas son limitadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2024, el volumen total de carga en Rotterdam fue de 133,4 millones de toneladas, un alza del 2,5 %. Adem\u00e1s, se movilizaron 13,8 millones de TEU, con un crecimiento del 2,8 %. Este aumento agudiz\u00f3 los efectos de la paralizaci\u00f3n, reduciendo la capacidad de absorci\u00f3n ante interrupciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pesar de un acuerdo laboral tentativo alcanzado en marzo, su ratificaci\u00f3n a\u00fan depende de votaci\u00f3n sindical. Durante el primer trimestre de 2025, el puerto registr\u00f3 una ca\u00edda del 5,8 % en movimiento de carga.
