La inversi\u00f3n alcanz\u00f3 los 6,7 millones de d\u00f3lares y busca reemplazar progresivamente la flota di\u00e9sel actual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los camiones propulsados por GNC en Santos Brasil reducir\u00e1n hasta un 20% las emisiones de CO\u2082 frente a los veh\u00edculos tradicionales. Actualmente, la terminal opera 140 camiones di\u00e9sel, que ser\u00e1n sustituidos gradualmente en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los nuevos veh\u00edculos son modelo P 340, con motor de 9 litros, 340 caballos de potencia y un par de 1.600 Nm. Incorporan la transmisi\u00f3n Scania Opticruise G25CM, con 14 velocidades que permiten cambios r\u00e1pidos y eficientes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, la flota cuenta con frenos hidr\u00e1ulicos Scania Retarder y un sistema electr\u00f3nico que gu\u00eda al conductor en tiempo real. Para garantizar su abastecimiento, se construye una estaci\u00f3n de carga de GNC dentro del recinto portuario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta adquisici\u00f3n forma parte del plan de modernizaci\u00f3n de Santos Brasil, que elevar\u00e1 su capacidad de 2,6 millones a 3 millones de TEU para 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La medida refuerza el compromiso ambiental de la empresa. Seg\u00fan Bruno Stupello, el uso de camiones propulsados por GNC en Santos Brasil responde al Plan de Transici\u00f3n Clim\u00e1tica que busca reducir emisiones directas en un 70% al 2040.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, la incorporaci\u00f3n de gr\u00faas RTG el\u00e9ctricas ha reducido en 97% las emisiones operativas mensuales de CO\u2082 en la terminal.
