Sin embargo, el tr\u00e1fico internacional mostr\u00f3 un comportamiento positivo, lo que impulsa los nuevos planes estrat\u00e9gicos de <strong>BoA<\/strong> para 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante 2024, la empresa incorpor\u00f3 cinco Boeing 737-800 y tres Airbus A330-200, reemplazando aeronaves Boeing 767. Tambi\u00e9n inaugur\u00f3 un centro de mantenimiento (MRO) en Cochabamba, buscando certificaci\u00f3n de la FAA para brindar servicios regionales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2023, <strong>BoA<\/strong> transport\u00f3 casi cinco millones de pasajeros, logrando un crecimiento interanual del 5,26%. Ese a\u00f1o se abrieron rutas a Asunci\u00f3n, Riberalta y Rurrenabaque, fortaleciendo la conectividad nacional e internacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En febrero de 2025, Mario Borda asumi\u00f3 como nuevo gerente general, reemplazando a Ronald Casso, en medio de cr\u00edticas. Las cr\u00edticas apuntan a la concentraci\u00f3n del mercado a\u00e9reo y algunos incidentes operativos recientes. Los planes para 2025 incluyen tres nuevos Boeing 737-700 adquiridos previamente, y se analizan acuerdos con fabricantes chinos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, se estudia ampliar la red internacional con destinos como Arica, Iquique, Montevideo, Barcelona, Mil\u00e1n, Washington y Santiago. Estas rutas se suman a Bogot\u00e1 y C\u00f3rdoba, anunciadas en 2024, pero a\u00fan no concretadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Actualmente, la flota de <strong>BoA<\/strong> se compone de tres Airbus A330-200, nueve Boeing 737-800, cuatro 737-700 y tres CRJ 200. La red internacional cubre destinos como Miami, Madrid, Lima, Buenos Aires, Caracas, La Habana y Sao Paulo. A nivel nacional, opera en 13 ciudades, incluyendo La Paz, Santa Cruz, Sucre, Cobija y Uyuni.
