A pesar del crecimiento en las exportaciones, el saldo de la balanza comercial sigue siendo negativo para Uruguay, con un d\u00e9ficit de <strong>U$S 111,3 millones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan el informe del <strong>Instituto de Negocios Internacionales (INI)<\/strong> de la Universidad Cat\u00f3lica del Uruguay (UCU), <strong>Argelia<\/strong> se destac\u00f3 como el principal destino de las exportaciones uruguayas hacia \u00c1frica, representando el <strong>46%<\/strong> del total, con un valor de <strong>U$S 234,1 millones<\/strong>. En 2024, las exportaciones a Argelia crecieron un <strong>80%<\/strong>, siendo <strong>leche y nata<\/strong> los productos predominantes, con el <strong>94,4%<\/strong> de estas exportaciones provenientes de la empresa <strong>Conaprole<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Otro dato relevante del informe es el impresionante <strong>crecimiento del 560,3%<\/strong> de las exportaciones uruguayas a <strong>Mauritania<\/strong>, que alcanzaron los <strong>U$S 23,4 millones<\/strong> en 2024. En este caso, la leche y nata tambi\u00e9n fueron los productos m\u00e1s exportados. Las empresas que lideraron estos env\u00edos fueron <strong>Conaprole<\/strong>, <strong>Estancias del Lago<\/strong>, y <strong>Cargill Uruguay S.A.<\/strong>, con participaciones de <strong>34,8%<\/strong>, <strong>34,7%<\/strong> y <strong>29,9%<\/strong> respectivamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Conaprole<\/strong> se consolid\u00f3 como la principal empresa exportadora hacia \u00c1frica, concentrando el <strong>57,1%<\/strong> de las exportaciones, con un total de <strong>U$S 290,5 millones<\/strong>, un <strong>69,9%<\/strong> m\u00e1s que en 2023.
