All\u00ed, <strong>Tupras<\/strong> opera una refiner\u00eda con capacidad de <strong>225.800 barriles por d\u00eda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este cambio en la compra de crudo responde a la decisi\u00f3n de <strong>Tupras<\/strong> de suspender las importaciones de <strong>petr\u00f3leo ruso<\/strong>; luego de que <strong>Estados Unidos impusiera nuevas sanciones<\/strong> a la industria petrolera de Rusia el <strong>10 de enero<\/strong>. Hasta entonces, la empresa era uno de los principales compradores de crudo ruso; con importaciones de aproximadamente <strong>305.000 barriles diarios en 2024<\/strong>, seg\u00fan Kpler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La petrolera estatal brasile\u00f1a <strong>Petrobras<\/strong> confirm\u00f3 la venta del cargamento; y asegur\u00f3 que contin\u00faa <strong>desarrollando nuevos mercados<\/strong> para expandir la presencia del petr\u00f3leo brasile\u00f1o en destinos estrat\u00e9gicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El crudo brasile\u00f1o de <strong>Itapu<\/strong> es <strong>semidulce<\/strong>, con una <strong>densidad API de 29,3<\/strong> y un contenido de <strong>azufre del 0,253%<\/strong>; lo que lo hace similar a otros tipos de crudo que <strong>Tupras<\/strong> ha comprado en el pasado; como <strong>Forcados de Nigeria<\/strong>.
