La operaci\u00f3n se extendi\u00f3 por dos turnos; permitiendo el desembarque de 148 contenedores, seg\u00fan la planificaci\u00f3n naviera de la Empresa Portuaria Iquique (EPI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La llegada del <em>Lakonia<\/em> marc\u00f3 su primera recalada en el Puerto de Iquique; motivo por el cual se realiz\u00f3 la tradicional ceremonia de entrega de placas. La nave, registrada bajo el pabell\u00f3n de Hong Kong, fue botada en 2004 y cuenta con 213 metros de eslora, 32 metros de manga y una capacidad de 2.568 TEU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El gerente de operaciones de ITI, Cristopher L\u00f3pez Oporto, destac\u00f3 en redes sociales la importancia de este acontecimiento. \u201cMarcamos un hito clave con la llegada del <em>MV Lakonia<\/em> en el nuevo servicio semanal CHX2. Esta ruta fortalece nuestra posici\u00f3n como hub estrat\u00e9gico en la cadena log\u00edstica regional\u201d, afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que la incorporaci\u00f3n del CHX2 impulsar\u00e1 el crecimiento de la carga en ITI y representar\u00e1 un desaf\u00edo para mejorar eficiencia, productividad y excelencia operativa.
