La ministra Elisa Facio destac\u00f3 la importancia de posicionar a Uruguay como un exportador de hidr\u00f3geno verde; un combustible renovable que promete transformar la econom\u00eda y reducir la dependencia de combustibles sint\u00e9ticos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con m\u00e1s del 90% de su matriz energ\u00e9tica basada en fuentes renovables, Uruguay est\u00e1 bien posicionado para desarrollar derivados del hidr\u00f3geno verde; como los e-fuels, que se utilizan en motores tradicionales. Facio calific\u00f3 este sector como una \u00abindustria emergente\u00bb capaz de generar empleo e impulsar el desarrollo econ\u00f3mico. La agenda tambi\u00e9n busca atraer inversiones, desarrollar infraestructura y fomentar la cooperaci\u00f3n internacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4>Los cuatro pilares fundamentales<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>La agenda 2050 se basa en cuatro pilares fundamentales: competitividad y eficiencia; confiabilidad y seguridad; sostenibilidad; y acceso universal e inclusi\u00f3n. A trav\u00e9s de estos ejes, el MIEM tiene como objetivo garantizar energ\u00eda a precios competitivos; adem\u00e1s de diversificar las fuentes de energ\u00eda, reducir las emisiones y promover la participaci\u00f3n de sectores vulnerables en la actividad energ\u00e9tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El subsecretario del MIEM, Walter Verri, subray\u00f3 que la agenda refleja una pol\u00edtica de estado y es parte de la segunda transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica; un proceso que ha consolidado a Uruguay como l\u00edder en la transici\u00f3n hacia una econom\u00eda descarbonizada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, se mencionaron algunos logros concretos del MIEM; como la implementaci\u00f3n de programas de eficiencia energ\u00e9tica, apoyo a micro y peque\u00f1as empresas, y el fomento de la movilidad el\u00e9ctrica.
