Esta medida surge tras intensas negociaciones y representa un importante avance para el sector ganadero del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Israel importa alrededor de 300.000 vacunos al a\u00f1o, y enfrenta dificultades para abastecerse desde Australia, su principal proveedor; debido al conflicto en el Mar Rojo. La habilitaci\u00f3n permitir\u00e1 a Uruguay exportar bovinos castrados de todas las categor\u00edas; sum\u00e1ndose a las exportaciones ya existentes de carne vacuna y ovina con hueso. Durante los primeros ocho meses de 2024, Uruguay export\u00f3 16.845 toneladas de carne vacuna a Israel; un incremento del 141% en comparaci\u00f3n con el mismo per\u00edodo de 2023, seg\u00fan el Instituto Nacional de Carnes (INAC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, Argelia se perfila como otro destino clave. Este pa\u00eds africano, conocido por ser un gran importador de l\u00e1cteos, realiz\u00f3 compras por 234,1 millones de d\u00f3lares en 2024; registrando un crecimiento interanual del 80,8%. Un informe de la Universidad Cat\u00f3lica del Uruguay (UCU) se\u00f1ala que, junto con otros pa\u00edses africanos, Argelia podr\u00eda abrir oportunidades para aumentar las exportaciones uruguayas en cerca de 410 millones de d\u00f3lares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por otro lado, Qatar y Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos tambi\u00e9n han manifestado su inter\u00e9s en importar corderos en pie desde Uruguay.
