Estos productos representaron el 56% del total exportado, con 8.287 toneladas enviadas, generando casi USD 2.8 millones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los principales destinos del carb\u00f3n paraguayo fueron Brasil (1.865 toneladas), Estados Unidos (1.834 toneladas) y Reino Unido (946 toneladas). Adem\u00e1s, la madera serrada y la madera contrachapada tambi\u00e9n mostraron un aumento en la demanda; destac\u00e1ndose env\u00edos de madera contrachapada a Italia, Chile y Portugal, y de madera aserrada a Israel, Taiw\u00e1n, Uruguay y Corea del Sur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cristina Goralewski, presidenta del Infona, destac\u00f3 que el sector forestal del pa\u00eds experimenta un crecimiento sostenido. Actualmente, Paraguay cuenta con 260.000 hect\u00e1reas de plantaciones forestales, el 95% ubicadas en la regi\u00f3n Oriental. En el \u00faltimo a\u00f1o, la superficie plantada creci\u00f3 en 60.000 hect\u00e1reas, superando las expectativas iniciales de 40.000 hect\u00e1reas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En cuanto a la madera contrachapada, Goralewski subray\u00f3 su importancia por provenir de la industria, generando empleo y mano de obra local. \u00abQueremos seguir impulsando este tipo de exportaciones\u00bb, afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Gobierno paraguayo tambi\u00e9n avanza en la promoci\u00f3n de cr\u00e9ditos de carbono; tras reglamentar la Ley de Cr\u00e9ditos de Carbono mediante un decreto.
