No obstante, el pa\u00eds sudamericano export\u00f3 aproximadamente USD 500 millones en aluminio y USD 100 millones en acero a su principal socio fuera de la regi\u00f3n; representando el 9,7% del total de sus env\u00edos a ese mercado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Frente a esta decisi\u00f3n, Argentina y otros pa\u00edses afectados, como Brasil, han anunciado que iniciar\u00e1n negociaciones bilaterales con la administraci\u00f3n Trump para mitigar el impacto de estos aranceles. En el caso brasile\u00f1o, el vicepresidente y ministro de Industria, Geraldo Alckmin, ha se\u00f1alado que su pa\u00eds buscar\u00e1 establecer un sistema de cuotas, similar al que se acord\u00f3 en 2018, cuando EE.UU. impuso restricciones similares a las importaciones de acero y aluminio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por otro lado, M\u00e9xico y Canad\u00e1 se enfrentan a un escenario a\u00fan m\u00e1s complejo; ya que el arancel del 25% se sumar\u00e1 a otro gravamen previamente establecido, elevando la carga total al 50%.
