Este crecimiento llev\u00f3 al sector a superar los vol\u00famenes r\u00e9cord de 2021; consolidando su papel clave en la cadena de suministro global.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La capacidad disponible tambi\u00e9n aument\u00f3 un 7,4% a nivel mundial y un 9,6% en las operaciones internacionales. Sin embargo, los rendimientos anuales promedio fueron un 1,6% inferiores a los de 2023; aunque se mantuvieron un 39% por encima de los niveles de 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Diciembre cerr\u00f3 con un desempe\u00f1o s\u00f3lido, con un aumento del 6,1% en la demanda global respecto a diciembre de 2023; y un incremento del 3,7% en la capacidad disponible. Factores como el auge del comercio electr\u00f3nico y las restricciones en el transporte mar\u00edtimo impulsaron este crecimiento. Seg\u00fan Willie Walsh, Director General de IATA, las limitaciones en el espacio a\u00e9reo en rutas clave hacia Asia tambi\u00e9n contribuyeron a mantener los rendimientos en niveles altos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A nivel regional, Asia-Pac\u00edfico lider\u00f3 el crecimiento con un aumento del 14,5% en la demanda de carga a\u00e9rea; seguida de Oriente Medio con un 13% y Am\u00e9rica Latina con un 12,6%. En contraste, Am\u00e9rica del Norte registr\u00f3 el menor crecimiento con un 6,6%, reflejando una recuperaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s moderada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para 2025, IATA proyecta que el crecimiento del sector se moderar\u00e1 hasta un 5,8%, aline\u00e1ndose con el desempe\u00f1o hist\u00f3rico.
