Este proyecto busca establecer un centro de almacenamiento de carbono en el mar del Norte, con transporte transfronterizo de CO2, respetando el Protocolo de Londres para la protecci\u00f3n ambiental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Gobierno laborista del Reino Unido, en el poder desde julio, ha priorizado la CCUS para reducir emisiones industriales, como las del sector cementero. Seg\u00fan datos oficiales, el pa\u00eds tiene capacidad para almacenar 200 a\u00f1os de emisiones en el fondo marino, posicion\u00e1ndose como l\u00edder mundial en esta tecnolog\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Starmer destac\u00f3 que la alianza con Noruega impulsar\u00e1 la inversi\u00f3n, el empleo y la seguridad energ\u00e9tica del Reino Unido.
