Buenaventura, con su movimiento de un mill\u00f3n de contenedores anuales, mantiene su posici\u00f3n competitiva. No obstante, Cu\u00e9llar destac\u00f3 la urgencia de un dragado en el puerto colombiano para alcanzar 16 metros de calado; mejorando su capacidad para recibir buques de mayor tama\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Impacto en el comercio regional<\/strong><br>El Puerto de Chancay refuerza la iniciativa de la Franja y la Ruta; facilitando la llegada de importaciones chinas en menos tiempo y a menor costo. Entre enero y septiembre de 2024, las importaciones de Colombia desde China ascendieron a US$11.386 millones; un 3,1% m\u00e1s que en 2023. Por otro lado, las exportaciones colombianas a China crecieron un 14,4% en el mismo periodo, alcanzando US$1.891 millones.<br>Expertos, como Javier D\u00edaz de Analdex, se\u00f1alan riesgos log\u00edsticos si Buenaventura pierde recaladas. El incremento en costos terrestres podr\u00eda afectar la competitividad.
