En un conversatorio reciente, Lacouture enfatiz\u00f3 la necesidad de mantener un enfoque pragm\u00e1tico en la relaci\u00f3n con EE. UU., priorizando la interacci\u00f3n con su Congreso para consolidar una relaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica y evitar perder los beneficios ya obtenidos del tratado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lacouture advirti\u00f3 que la renegociaci\u00f3n podr\u00eda ser innecesaria; ya que el TLC ya contempla mecanismos de revisi\u00f3n y ajustes. \u00abAbrir la puerta a una renegociaci\u00f3n podr\u00eda ser contraproducente\u00bb, indic\u00f3; sugiriendo que Colombia podr\u00eda enfrentarse a resultados desfavorables si decide avanzar en este proceso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> La presidenta de AmCham tambi\u00e9n destac\u00f3 la importancia de un enfoque que refuerce las relaciones bilaterales y gestione intereses comunes; como la seguridad regional y el comercio.
