En una reuni\u00f3n en Lima, representantes de ambos pa\u00edses discutieron detalles clave para la implementaci\u00f3n del acuerdo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este acuerdo busca aumentar el comercio bilateral y fomentar la competitividad de las peque\u00f1as y medianas empresas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El TLC permitir\u00e1 que m\u00e1s del 75% de las exportaciones peruanas ingresen a Guatemala sin aranceles en un plazo de cinco a\u00f1os. Productos como cacao, uvas, naranjas, esp\u00e1rragos y manufacturas de zinc destacan entre los beneficiados. En 2023, el comercio bilateral alcanz\u00f3 los 115 millones de d\u00f3lares, liderado por las agroexportaciones peruanas, acero y productos farmac\u00e9uticos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La viceministra de Comercio Exterior de Per\u00fa, Teresa Mera G\u00f3mez, enfatiz\u00f3 la importancia de este tratado para aprovechar el potencial comercial entre ambas naciones; y beneficiar especialmente a las peque\u00f1as empresas. Por su parte, el embajador guatemalteco, Carlos Jos\u00e9 Escobedo, subray\u00f3 la relevancia del acuerdo para fortalecer los lazos econ\u00f3micos en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con Guatemala como el segundo socio comercial de Per\u00fa en Centroam\u00e9rica; este acuerdo busca consolidar relaciones econ\u00f3micas estrat\u00e9gicas y facilitar la integraci\u00f3n regional. Posicionando a ambos pa\u00edses como actores clave en el comercio interamericano.
