La ceremonia, realizada desde el Palacio de Gobierno en Lima, cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n remota de autoridades e invitados en el puerto; ubicado a 80 kil\u00f3metros al norte de la capital peruana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El puerto, construido por la empresa china Cosco Shipping Ports, inici\u00f3 operaciones movilizando contenedores de 40 pies mediante su avanzada tecnolog\u00eda automatizada. Estas primeras maniobras, realizadas por el portacontenedores Xin Shanghai, resaltan la modernidad del recinto; as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n su capacidad para manejar carga de manera eficiente. Tambi\u00e9n estuvo presente el portacontenedores Cosco Shipping Peru, simbolizando la conexi\u00f3n directa que busca establecer Chancay con Shangh\u00e1i; consolidando un puente comercial entre Asia y Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el evento estuvieron atracados el granelero Cosco Shipping Honor y el car carrier Cosco Tengfei, este \u00faltimo siendo el primero en abandonar el puerto tras recibir autorizaci\u00f3n de inicio de operaciones. El ministro de Transportes y Comunicaciones de Per\u00fa, Ra\u00fal P\u00e9rez Reyes, destac\u00f3 que este megapuerto es \u00abun paso gigante hacia la modernizaci\u00f3n de nuestra infraestructura log\u00edstica y el fortalecimiento de nuestra posici\u00f3n como hub comercial en el Pac\u00edfico Sur\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El terminal multiprop\u00f3sito comenz\u00f3 a operar con carga regular desde el 16 de noviembre; y espera consolidar rutas estables hacia Asia a partir de enero de 2025.
