Con esta adici\u00f3n, la terminal podr\u00e1 manejar m\u00e1s de 200,000 contenedores de 20 pies (TEU) anuales. Este incremento es crucial, dado el aumento del comercio y la demanda log\u00edstica. En lo que va del a\u00f1o, el Puerto de Manzanillo report\u00f3 un crecimiento del 9% en la movilizaci\u00f3n de contenedores; alcanzando 2.6 millones de TEU. Contecon, por su parte, creci\u00f3 un 15% en el mismo per\u00edodo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La fase III de expansi\u00f3n incluye la construcci\u00f3n de nuevos patios, la ampliaci\u00f3n de muelles y la incorporaci\u00f3n de equipos modernos para optimizar la gesti\u00f3n de carga. Jos\u00e9 Antonio Contreras, CEO de Contecon Manzanillo, destac\u00f3 que estas instalaciones est\u00e1n dise\u00f1adas para mejorar la eficiencia en los tiempos de tr\u00e1nsito.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Puerto de Manzanillo es esencial para el comercio exterior de M\u00e9xico; y estas expansiones son necesarias para satisfacer la creciente demanda tanto nacional como internacional.
