Seg\u00fan el informe de Acopl\u00e1sticos, las exportaciones de productos pl\u00e1sticos crecieron un 16,4% durante el primer semestre de 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Este sector es clave en la econom\u00eda del pa\u00eds, siendo la cuarta categor\u00eda con mayor crecimiento en ventas al exterior este a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El impulso ha sido liderado por productos como tubos de PVC, tapas pl\u00e1sticas, vajillas y pel\u00edculas de polietileno, polipropileno y PVC. Daniel Mitchell, presidente de Acopl\u00e1sticos, destac\u00f3 el dinamismo del sector, subrayando su capacidad para atraer inversiones y desarrollar proyectos estrat\u00e9gicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La industria pl\u00e1stica no solo destaca en exportaciones, sino tambi\u00e9n en inversiones. En 2023, las inversiones en maquinaria y moldes alcanzaron los 137 millones de d\u00f3lares. En el primer semestre de 2024, estas sumaron 52,3 millones de d\u00f3lares, con un notable crecimiento en maquinaria para moldeado por soplado y termoformado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, la producci\u00f3n de pl\u00e1sticos creci\u00f3 un 4,2% en el segundo trimestre de 2024, seg\u00fan el DANE.
