Se proyecta que para 2030 el parque de veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos livianos en la regi\u00f3n alcanzar\u00e1 entre 10 y 20 millones de unidades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Organizaci\u00f3n Latinoamericana de Energ\u00eda (Olade) estima que se necesitar\u00e1n $10.000 millones en inversiones para satisfacer la creciente demanda energ\u00e9tica del sector. La energ\u00eda requerida alcanzar\u00eda los 46,943 gigavatios hora; lo que representa el 3 % de la generaci\u00f3n actual de la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, se necesitar\u00e1n 11.405 megavatios adicionales de capacidad instalada para abastecer a estos veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En la actualidad, m\u00e1s de 249.000 veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos livianos y 5.000 autobuses el\u00e9ctricos circulan por las calles de Latinoam\u00e9rica. El parque de autobuses el\u00e9ctricos ha crecido un 160 % en los \u00faltimos tres a\u00f1o; ,superando a Europa y Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sin embargo, la regi\u00f3n a\u00fan est\u00e1 muy por detr\u00e1s de China, l\u00edder mundial en electromovilidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La infraestructura de carga tambi\u00e9n ha avanzado. Actualmente hay 4.848 estaciones de carga p\u00fablica en la regi\u00f3n; lo que supera a Europa y Estados Unidos en disponibilidad de estaciones por cada 100 veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Olade se\u00f1ala que la armonizaci\u00f3n regulatoria entre los pa\u00edses ser\u00e1 clave para impulsar la movilidad el\u00e9ctrica.
