Esto representa el 7% de las exportaciones del pa\u00eds, seg\u00fan Jorge Sauma, gerente general de CORBANA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El costo promedio para producir una caja de banano es de USD 8,35; con una divisi\u00f3n entre costos fijos y variables. Adem\u00e1s, la industria emplea directamente a m\u00e1s de 40.000 personas, con salarios competitivos, y genera empleo indirecto para 100.000 m\u00e1s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jorge Osborne, presidente de la C\u00e1mara Nacional de Bananeros (CANABA), destac\u00f3 que todas las fincas cumplen con regulaciones nacionales e internacionales. El 100% de las fincas productoras est\u00e1n certificadas, asegurando el cumplimiento de estrictas normas laborales y ambientales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La industria ha avanzado en la protecci\u00f3n laboral y la sostenibilidad ambiental; reciclando el 100% de los pl\u00e1sticos y protegiendo 14.500 hect\u00e1reas de bosques.
