Este nivel de demanda no se ve\u00eda desde los m\u00e1ximos alcanzados en 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La capacidad global, medida en toneladas de carga por kil\u00f3metro disponibles (ACTK), creci\u00f3 un 8,3 % interanual. Este aumento se vio favorecido por la capacidad en bodega; que subi\u00f3 un 12,8 % gracias al fuerte rendimiento de los mercados de pasajeros. Sin embargo, el crecimiento de la capacidad en bodega fue el m\u00e1s bajo en 40 meses; destacando una desaceleraci\u00f3n en comparaci\u00f3n con el pico registrado en enero de 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Willie Walsh, director general de IATA, destac\u00f3 que el auge del comercio mundial y el comercio electr\u00f3nico; junto con la crisis en el transporte mar\u00edtimo, han beneficiado al sector de la carga a\u00e9rea. Con la temporada alta a\u00fan por llegar, 2024 se perfila como un a\u00f1o fuerte para el sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A nivel regional, las aerol\u00edneas de Asia-Pac\u00edfico lideraron el crecimiento con un aumento del 17,6 % en la demanda. Las rutas Europa-Asia, Oriente Medio-Asia y Asia-\u00c1frica tambi\u00e9n mostraron incrementos significativos. En Am\u00e9rica del Norte, el crecimiento fue del 8,7 %, afectado por las interrupciones causadas por el hurac\u00e1n Beryl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En Europa, la demanda creci\u00f3 un 13,7 % impulsada por las rutas Oriente Medio-Europa; que registraron un incremento del 32,2 %.
