A pesar de este desaf\u00edo global, el puerto catal\u00e1n ha logrado adaptarse; manteniendo su capacidad para servir al tejido productivo de su hinterland. Las importaciones de contenedores llenos crecieron un 6,5%, mientras que las exportaciones aumentaron un 8,6%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los graneles l\u00edquidos tambi\u00e9n experimentaron un crecimiento del 5,8%, totalizando 8,06 millones de toneladas; con un destacado aumento en el movimiento de productos qu\u00edmicos, que subi\u00f3 un 96,4%. Por el contrario, los graneles s\u00f3lidos disminuyeron un 9,5%, registrando 2,72 millones de toneladas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El movimiento de Unidades de Transporte Intermodal (UTIs) creci\u00f3 un 3,1%; alcanzando los 259.902 camiones y remolques, impulsado por el transporte entre Barcelona y los puertos de las Islas Baleares e Italia.
